Ronnie and Susan Whetstine established W W Contractors in 1976 and specialize in Custom Homes. Ronnie began his career in construction at the age of 10 along side his grandfather Houston Gantt. Ronnie continues to carry on the family tradition of quality building and is a Licensed Residential and Commercial Contractor.

Ronnie has compiled a team of experienced carpenters and subcontractors that share his philosophy of providing quality craftsmanship using only the highest quality of materials. The process of building a custom home can begin with site selection and Ronnie often begins his relationship with his customers during this phase of the process. When your custom home is completed you can be assured the windows are washed and the floors vacuumed to allow you to move right in and begin enjoying your new home.

During the process of building your new custom home Ronnie will spend time with you (almost on a daily basis) to make sure your plans are becoming a reality. Ronnie and Susan believe in reaching out to their community and one of their most enjoyable contributions comes each year during Hog Happnin’ where the proceeds go to benefit The Children’s Homes of Cleveland County. Ronnie and Susan are actively involved in their church First Assembly Gastonia, the Cleveland County Chamber and the Cleveland County and North Carolina Home Builders Associations.
